Recognition of existing - a family-system constellation

The central principle of constellation work is “recognition of what is” and restoring order so that the flow of life can continue. The principle of “recognition of what is” in the family constellation speaks of accepting reality as it is, without attempting to change or resist it. This “letting go” includes acknowledging events, characters, and feelings as they are, even if they are difficult or unwanted. By fully accepting the current situation, emotional movement and healing are possible, instead of getting stuck in an internal or external struggle. This recognition constitutes an important basis for healing and development processes.

Belonging and loyalty

Everyone who was born into the family throughout the generations has an equal right to belong to it even if they are no longer in the family (due to death, abortions, giving up for adoption, etc.). Everything is preserved, even secrets that were seemingly repressed and forgotten. All of these will continue to exist in the collective subconscious of the system until one of the offspring unconsciously adopts some role related to their balance.

Who came before whom chronologically? The parents before the children, the eldest before the youngest, the first wife before the second wife, the old employee before the new employee. The one who comes first has the ability and resources to support and allow the one who comes later to succeed. When the order of priorities in the system goes wrong - chaos is created. Restoring order calms down the system.

Reciprocity - a balance between giving and taking

Giving and receiving are two cornerstones of any relationship, whether marital, family, social, or even professional. Finding the right balance between them is essential to creating healthy and fulfilling relationships over time. The demand for balance exists deep within us.

Loyalty is hidden or latent in the mirror of the constellation

Hidden loyalty refers to an unconscious connection we carry with us to previous generations in our family. It may be an emotional or spiritual burden that we carry on our shoulders, sometimes without our knowledge, out of loyalty to our ancestors, grandfather, grandmother or to traumatic events that occurred in the family. The person "gets mixed up" with dynamics that do not belong to them and carries a story that does not necessarily belong to them.
